by Charles de Kunffy
Charles de Kunffy was born in Hungary and raised in the Classical tradition of training and riding - the tradition of the Spanish Riding School of Budapest (which ended with WW II)
and the Spanish Riding School of Vienna, which continues to this day.
In this book he describes a complete training system for both horse and rider, paying special attention to how a rider’s actions can influence the horse. The book provides practical, in-the-saddle advice on a wide range of dressage topics, including: the art of classical equitation and the development of the rider’s seat and aids. This is a classic work, full of useful practical information, now in its second edition.
